Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill puts New Yorkers’ clean air and jobs at risk.

Governor Hochul has a plan to protect us.

New York isn’t backing down — Governor Hochul’s Clean Air Initiative and Sustainable Future Fund will continue to invest in the communities that need it most.

New York State’s Clean Air Initiative will:

HOLD CORPORATIONS ACCOUNTABLE

Trump’s actions give polluters a free pass. The Clean Air Initiative will hold corporations accountable for reducing harmful pollution and protect the health of every New Yorker.

CLEAN OUR
AIR

Our kids deserve healthy, long lives, and a future where no one has to worry about the air they breathe or the water they drink.

INVEST IN OUR INFRASTRUCTURE

The Clean Air Initiative and Sustainable Future Fund will support critical upgrades to our aging infrastructure—improving public transit, advancing energy efficiency in our homes and schools, and expanding clean energy solutions for our communities.

LOWER ELECTRIC
BILLS

New Yorkers are facing rising energy costs, and action is long overdue. The Clean Air Initiative will bring down the high cost of energy for families and invest in a more sustainable future.

What is the Clean Air Initiative?

The Clean Air Initiative is New York’s strategy to clean up pollution, create good jobs, and build a stronger future. By setting limits on carbon emissions and requiring polluters to pay, the program will fund critical infrastructure, public health, and energy affordability projects — especially in communities that have borne the brunt of environmental harm.

What is the Sustainable Future Fund?

The Sustainable Future Fund is Governor Hochul’s historic investment to fund infrastructure projects that reduce harmful pollution from the building and transportation sectors, create family-sustaining and union jobs, and deliver cleaner air for New Yorkers.

New York is advancing solutions to the damage caused by Trump’s attacks — and will keep taking bold steps toward a cleaner New York.
