New Yorkers for Clean Air released the following statement in response to today’s announcement from Governor Hochul allocating the $1 billion Sustainable Future Fund:

“Governor Hochul’s $1 billion Sustainable Future Fund is a critical step towards a future with cleaner air, healthier communities, and stable energy bills. As New Yorkers face rising energy prices, the state must urgently invest in building clean energy, decarbonizing our buildings and transportation sectors, and conserving farms and forests. This work will also create good union jobs that support families and build financial security. We commend Governor Hochul for her commitment to building a clean, healthy, and affordable New York.”
